Thomson Reuters released EndNote X6 for Windows in early September. Customers who bought EndNote X5 for Windows through the Software Store on or after July 6, 2012 qualify for a free upgrade to X6. The Software Store provided a free download to eligible customers on September 20th.
Thomson Reuters expects to release EndNote X6 for Mac to volume license customers by the end of October. Mac users qualify for a free upgrade if they buy EndNote X5 for Mac through the Software Store within 60 days of the X6 release date.
