Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Available

VUIT renewed Vanderbilt's Campus Wide Site Subscription to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).  The subscription provides:

• Unlimited access to RHEL Academic Client and Server editions
• Unlimited access to Smart Management modules
• The right to use RHEL in both non-production and production operating environments

Faculty, staff, and students can use RHEL Academic Edition for personal or educational purposes such as:

• Faculty, staff, or student laptops or desktops for personal and academic use
• Computer labs available to faculty, staff, and students for general education use
• Classroom desktops
• Laboratories for technical and research use
• Laboratories for software development use

Vanderbilt faculty, staff, and students are eligible to download RHEL Academic Workstation at no charge through the Vanderbilt Software Store.
