On December 12, 2019, beginning at 5:00 a.m., Enterprise Cybersecurity at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VEC) will upgrade the remote access Virtual Private Network (VPN).
There are no actions to take during the VPN upgrade, which should only last a few minutes. However, if a user is connected to VPN during the scheduled upgrade time, the device will disconnect. Additionally, a pop-up screen will appear while the upgrade is in progress. When the upgrade is complete, users can reconnect.
