Jenny Pafford, EdD, MS, CNMT

Dr. Pafford serves as the Director of the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program within the Center for Programs in Allied Health at VUMC. She completed her doctorate in education at Vanderbilt University, Peabody College, focusing on higher education leadership and policy. A graduate of the VUMC NMT Program, she completed her Bachelor of Science in medical imaging technology at Belmont University. She earned her Master of Science in health physics at Vanderbilt University, where she focused her research on radiation biology. Dr. Pafford worked as a health physicist at VUMC for several years before re-joining the clinical nuclear medicine department. She is certified in nuclear medicine technology through the NMTCB and has worked as a clinical nuclear medicine technologist with experience in general and cardiac nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and nuclear pharmacy.
