The Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department is dedicated to education. We offer numerous training programs for residents, fellows, medical students, and undergraduate students.
- ACGME-Accredited Residency Training Program provides comprehensive training in complex clinical skills, education, and research.
- Non-ACGME Accredited Fellowship through the North American Spine Society (NASS) Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine (ISMM) Fellowship Program.
- PM&R Medical Student Courses through the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
- Observational Experiences, Research Internships, and Clinical Shadowing for graduate and/or undergraduate students.
- Monthly Grand Rounds on a range of topics with speakers from both the Vanderbilt community and invited speakers from academic institutions throughout the country.
- The Dayani Center for Health and Wellness assists in training physical therapy students from various local universities.
- The Osher Center for Integrative Medicine provides learning opportunities for post graduate education in integrative approaches, mindfulness, and psychotherapy.
