Summary:
This talk will present data from an ongoing K01 study which uses real-time monitoring methods to study suicidal ideation intensity among LGBTQ youth and young adults in Tennessee. I will discuss the development of the smartphone-based protocol and an ongoing analysis of exposure to LGBTQ negative news media on suicidal ideations severity, with discussion about clinical implications, future directions.
Objectives:
The activity is designed to help the learner:
1. Discuss methods to monitor suicidal ideation intensity among LGBTQ youth and young adults in Tennessee
2. Describe how exposure to LGBTQ negative news media impacts severity of suicidal ideations.
3. Describe clinical implications of analyzing outcomes utilizing smartphone-based monitoring protocol.
