Courtney M. Tomblinson, MD, has received a secondary appointment as Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery in the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
"My time as an ENT resident piqued my interest in diseases of the head and neck and was the basis for my career transition to Neuroradiology," Dr. Tomblinson says. "In this role, I will build upon current lines of service and experiences to bridge and strengthen our departments."'
Dr. Tomblinson looks forward to continuing various research collaborations with Radiology residents and fellows, ENT faculty and residents. She teaches at ENT resident didactic conferences and in the Neurotology Lecture Series. With her team, she implemented an interdisciplinary curriculum for residents and fellows in Radiology and Otolaryngology to assess attitudes and skills in head and neck imaging interpretation and clinical collaboration for the benefit of our mutual patients. Dr. Tomblinson also developed and implemented new MR protocols for sialography and neurography.
