Congratulations to Kate Frederick-Dyer, MD, Assistant Professor and Director of Body MRI, who has been selected to join the newly-formed Advocacy Committee with the American Associate for Women in Radiology. She will serve in the Reproductive Rights working group.
According to the AAWR, the committee was formed to advocate for issues important to AAWR members such as paid family/medical leave and reproductive rights. Working groups will work towards improved website resources, high impact member survey and considerations for policy resolutions at the ACR.
