The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences is pleased to welcome Matthew Roberts, MD, to the Emergency Radiology section as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Roberts comes to us from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he served as an Assistant Professor since 2017. Previously, he worked in private practice and for the University of Tennessee health group at a Level 1 trauma center.
A graduate of Weber State University, Dr. Roberts went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Roberts completed his internship and radiology residency at UT Methodist, also in Memphis.
Dr. Roberts' primary interests are in emergency and trauma imaging. In his first year at UAB, he received a “Top Ten” faculty teaching award.
