The Department of Radiology is excited to welcome Nicholas Voutsinas, MD, as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences. Dr. Voutsinas joins us from New York, where he recently held a faculty appointment at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Univeristy/Northwell Health.
Since July 2021, Dr. Voutsinas has been an attending physician in Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology throughout Northwell locations in Manhattan, Queens and Long Island. Previously, he was Chief Resident in Mount Sinai Medical Center's Department of Radiology in Manhattan. In 2021, Dr. Voutsinas received the RSNA Roentgen Resident Research Award and was a Philip’s IVUS Case Study Winner (Venous).
Dr. Voutsinas completed medical school in 2015 at State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn. He received his BS in Biomedical Sciences from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the City College of New York, City University of New York (CUNY) in 2013.
