Congratulations to Xinqiang Yan, PhD, Research Assistant Professor for Radiology and Radiological Sciences, who has received a secondary appointment as Research Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering within the School of Engineering.
“I am thrilled to receive the secondary appointment from the ECE department,” says Dr. Yan. “I will try my best to 'bridge' students in VU electrical engineering with MRI instrument development."
Dr. Yan earned his PhD in Particle Physics and Nuclear Physics from the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China. He went on to complete a postdoctoral research fellowship at Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science before joining the faculty as a research instructor.
