Dr. Amit Gupta, MD, is an Associate professor or Radiology and Modality director of Diagnostic Radiography at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University. He also serves as an Associate Division Chief for Cardiothoracic Imaging and has joint appointments in the Departments of Medicine and Biomedical Engineering. He is a passionate educator and big proponent of understanding and utilizing new imaging techniques, modalities and software for image interpretation, including but not limited to Spectral detector CT, 3D printing, Radiomics, and PET/MRI. With his biomedical engineering collaborators, he has been engaged in building and validating novel Artificial Intelligence based methodologies focusing primarily on lung cancer diagnosis, prognosis and treatment response prediction. More recently, he has achieved seamless integration of a novel Artificial Intelligence algorithms into the routine clinical workflow, a one of kind initiative to improve clinical adoption and implementation of AI tools.
