Asha Sarma, MD has been named the Deputy Director of Medical Student Education for the Department of Radiology. Dr. Sarma will be working closely with current Director of Medical Student Education, Katie Davis, DO.
Dr. Sarma's recent involvement with Vanderbilt University Medical School as a newly appointed Portfolio Coach and co-lead of the Foundations of Clinical Care (FCC) Launch Week make her a natural fit for the role. She also serves as the course director of the Diagnostic Radiology elective, providing early radiology exposure to second year medical students.
