The Department of Radiology is excited to welcome Jennifer S. Weaver, MD, as an Associate Professor of Clinical, Radiology and Radiological Sciences. Dr. Weaver comes to Nashville by way of Albuquerque's University of New Mexico. Dr. Weaver attended medical school at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health and completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
After completing her fellowship in 2006, Dr. Weaver spent a decade in Norfolk at the Eastern Virginia School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and attending radiologist. In 2016, she moved to New Mexico, where she took on the roles of Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and Section Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of New Mexico Department of Radiology.
