Congratulations to Mariam Moshiri, MD, FSAR, FSRU, Vice Chair of Faculty Recruitment and Development & Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, who has been selected to join the 2022-2023 cohort for the Leading, Empowering and Disrupting (LEAD) Program, a joint leadership program of the Society of Chairs of Academic Radiology Departments’ (SCARD) and GE Healthcare.
"I am absolutely elated and honored to join this group of outstanding women," Dr. Moshiri says.
Dr. Moshiri is looking forward to improving her skills in adaptive leadership styles, leading change, communication, negotiations and budget/finance. She also hopes to form long-term friendships.
"I believe LEAD is one of the best and foremost programs in improving leadership skills for women in healthcare industry," she says. "The program provides an educational experience with diverse peers of different experience and backgrounds, while fostering a deeper level of learning from women leaders in medicine and industry through their challenges and achievements."
