Congratulations to Xinqiang Yan, PhD, who has been promoted to Research Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences in the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, effective January 1, 2023.
Dr. Yan also recently received a secondary appointment working with Electrical and Computer Engineering within the School of Engineering.
Dr. Yan earned a PhD is Particle Physics and Nuclear Physics from the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China. He completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science, and he joined the Vanderbilt faculty as Research Instructor.
Dr. Yan’s research is focused on RF hardware, parallel imaging and parallel transmission in MRI.
