VUMC Radiology is proud to share that Christopher Baron, MD, Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, has been inducted into the Academy for Excellence in Clinical Medicine.
The AECM was created in 2021 by leaders in the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine to “honor exemplary clinicians who combine humanism, professionalism and a passion for patient care with a scholarly approach to improving patient health and establish a community of leaders to promote clinical excellence.”
As a member of the academy, Dr. Baron will give back to the institution. Elected clinicians act as mentors, give presentations and lead discussions about patient care throughout the medical center.
Dr. Baron joins 20 other VUMC faculty from departments such as anesthesiology, pediatrics, otolaryngology, and more in the class of 2022.
Currently, Dr. Baron works with the Vascular Anomalies Clinic at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital. He started with Vanderbilt in 2012 as Assistant Professor.
