Congratulations to Brent Savoie, MD, JD, Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, for receiving a secondary appointment as Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics.
Dr. Savoie says this new collaboration with the department is an exciting step.
"I have really enjoyed my experiences with the Department of Biomedical Informatics over the past 6 years," says Dr. Savoie. "I'm eager to assist in inter-departmental collaboration going forward. I’ve found that some of the most interesting and rapid innovation occurs at the intersection of two fields."
Recently, Dr. Savoie joined Navvis Healthcare as Chief Performance Executive. In this new position, Dr. Savoie will have key responsibilities related to the design, development and management support of the company’s capabilities. He will oversee and manage the intersection of programs, interventions, innovation and technology. This new secondary appointment adds to Dr. Savoie's expertise in informatics.
