Benjamin M. Yeh, MD, is a Professor in the Abdominal Imaging Section in the Department of Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco. He received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship in abdominal imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. He has published 193 peer-reviewed papers and 12 books / book chapters.

Dr. Yeh co-founded Nextrast, Inc to translate novel contrast agents for improved medical imaging. Dr. Yeh directs the UCSF Contrast and CT Research lab, an NIH funded group that explores preclinical and clinical contrast-enhanced imaging techniques for CT, multi-energy CT, and MR imaging. Ongoing projects include the development and testing of novel contrast agents and image reconstructions to improve the diagnostic value of abdominal, bowel, fibrosis, and oncologic imaging.
