Geoffrey E. Wile, MD, served in the U.S. Army in Signals Intelligence as a Korean Linguist from 1986-1993. He earned his medical degree with high honors from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed internship and Radiology Residency and a fellowship in Body Imaging at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Wile joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 2008, and he served as Section Chief of Body Imaging from 2016-2019. In 2019, he was appointed Director of Interventional Computed Tomography and Ultrasound. He is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America, American College of Radiology and the Society of Abdominal Radiology.
