John C. Thomas, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Urologic Surgery in the Department of Urology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. He completed his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed a General Surgery internship and a Urology residency (Chief Resident) at the Cleveland Foundation. He also completed a Pediatric Urology fellowship at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
In his clinical practice and research, Dr. Thomas focuses on reconstructive urology, spina bifida, pediatric stone disease, laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, and robotic reconstructive procedures
