We provide editing services for all types of scientific writings and communications, including but not limited to: single and multi-project grants, manuscripts, abstracts, review articles, and educational resources. In addition to providing feedback on mechanics, style, and clarity, on multi-author projects we will work to achieve a cohesive single voice across the different writing styles of contributors.
Levels:
BASIC : grammar, flow/readability, and proper formatting.
INTERMEDIATE : BASIC level + content editing, finalizing sections, limited scientific critique
ADVANCED : INTERMEDIATE level + evaluation of content, advanced scientific critique, content development
Time spent on projects depends on factors such as desired level of feedback, available time, and state of project completion on initial submission. Depending on the workload at the time of submission, rush jobs for which the requested turn-around is significantly faster than our original projection may be rejected.
Below is an estimation of time spent on projects. Please note, time spent depends on state of project completion on initial submission. Times may vary depending on the current workload of our team
- Short documents (1-2 pages) and/or Basic level editing : 1-10 hours, 3-5 days turnaround
- Manuscripts (5-10 pages) and/or Intermediate level editing : 10-25 hours, 10-14 days turnaround
- Grants (10+ pages) and/or Advanced level editing : 15-30 hours, 14-21 days turnaround
