Eric Wallace Joins as Vice Chair of Community Radiology, Associate Professor

VUMC Radiology is happy to welcome Eric Wallace, MD, who comes to our team as an Associate Professor and will serve as our new Vice Chair of Community Radiology. 

Dr. Wallace is a triple-graduate of Louisiana State University. He received his undergraduate degree in kinesiology from LSU before attending the LSU Health Sciences Center for both his medical degree and radiology residency. 

Dr. Wallace then completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology with Alabama Sports Medicine Imaging in Birmingham. After his fellowship in 2018, Dr. Wallace then traveled back to New Orleans and the LSU Health Sciences Center, this time joining as an Assistant Professor in the Divisions of Emergency Radiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging. There, he served as the Director of Faculty Development and as the Faculty Advisor of the Radiology Interest Group with the School of Medicine.

In 2024, he was promoted to Associate Professor. During his time as faculty at LSU, Dr. Wallace held several teaching responsibilities, including the implementation of emergency and MSK curriculum for the radiology residency program, as well as working with medical students in various radiology electives.
