Michael Flowers Joins as Assistant Professor

The Department of Radiology is excited to welcome Michael Flowers, MD, as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences. Dr. Flowers joins us from Seattle, where he recently completed the Emergency and Trauma Radiology Fellowship at Harborview Medical Center. Previously, he completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Washington Medical Center, also in Seattle.

Though born in New York City, Dr. Flowers pursued his education in Maryland and Pennsylvania. He received his BA in Classics from Johns Hopkins University in 2008 before completing a pre-medical Post-Baccalaureate Program at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2010. He earned his MD from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016.

Dr. Flowers has been awarded various honors, including the Fred Mann Award for Best Research Project at Harborview Medical Center in 2021.
