Ryan Muller, M.D., Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, was recently appointed Associate Program Director for the Interventional Radiology Residency program.
Prior to joining the Interventional Radiology section at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in January 2017, Dr. Muller practiced body imaging and interventional radiology at MedStar Health in Washington, D.C.
“Dr. Muller has a unique background in procedural radiology, having competed two postgraduate fellowships, one in Body Imaging and Intervention at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and a second fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Georgetown University,” said Filip Banovac, M.D., Interventional Radiology Section Chief and Associate Professor of Radiology. “Shortly after arriving at Vanderbilt, he immediately showed his aptitude and interest in resident and fellow education.”
Dr. Muller will join program directors Drs. Edwin Donnelly and Peter Bream to help administer the IR residency program, optimize the curriculum, set the educational agenda and achieve the program’s diversity and inclusion goals.
