Congrats to VUMC Radiology for Impactful RSNA 2022

Please enjoy a recap of VUMC Radiology's trip to Chicago for #RSNA2022. Our team had a wonderful time reuniting face to face with pioneers and some of the greatest minds in radiology from all around the world.

Congratulations to all of our VUMC Radiology team who represented our institution at RSNA 2022, from faculty to medical students.

This year's event garnered nearly 38,000 attendees and featured more than 900 scientific papers, 1,300 scientific posters, 300 education courses, and 1,450 education exhibits.

The meeting's theme, "Empowering Patients and Partners in Care," highlighted the importance of empathy and health equity in medical imaging. Artificial intelligence, sustainability, and more hot topics also took center stage as a prevalent talking points at the conference.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center once again made a tangible and quantifiable impact on the tremendous event, further proving our department's position as one of the leading radiological innovators in the world.

Special thanks to Mariam Moshiri, MD, for encouraging sections to submit a record number of abstracts and helping presenters develop their exhibits.
