Ryan Muller, MD, is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina. He completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Georgetown University Hospital, awarded the Homer L. Twigg, M.D. Outstanding Resident of the Year in 2012. Following dual fellowships in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Georgetown University Hospital and Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dr. Muller practiced at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 2017 as Assistant Professor of Radiology. Through 2022, he served as Program Director for both the Integrated IR residency and the IR fellowship. In 2023, he assumed the new role of Director of GU Interventions in the Department of Radiology, while also receiving a secondary appointment as Assistant Professor of Clinical Urology with the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. In 2024, Dr. Muller was promoted to Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences and Clinical Urology. He was also named the Medical Director of Interventional Radiology. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).
