Jessica Leschied Named APD for Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences is proud to share that Associate Professor Jessica Leschied, MD, FRCPC, FAAP, has joined the department’s Diagnostic Radiology (DR) residency program’s leadership team as Assistant Program Director (APD).

“Dr. Leschied has played an invaluable role in education over the last year,” says Daniel Brown, MD, FSIR, Carol D. and Henry P. Pendergrass Professor and Chair of Radiology and Radiological Sciences. “Becoming an APD for the DR residency is a natural next step for her.”

"One of the best parts of my job is teaching and mentoring residents,” Dr. Leschied says. “It truly brings a lot of joy to my work days. I'm looking forward to further getting to know all of our amazing residents now in my capacity as APD and am excited to be part of our stellar residency program leadership team."

In her role, Dr. Leschied will work alongside Steven Harris, MD, PhD, Program Director, and Jennifer Huang, MD, who was also recently named Assistant Program Director.

“Dr. Leschied is an admired teacher and passionate advocate for our residents,” Dr. Harris says. “She will be a trusted leader and partner for the residents and faculty as the program grows.”
