Congratulations to Philip Scherer, MD, Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, who has been named as an honoree in the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) "Ones to Watch" campaign. The program aims to recognize those with the potential to shape the future of precision medicine across all spectrums of the field and whose actions, work, or studies have set them apart as a future thought leader in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences is proud to announce that Christine Dove, MD, has been appointed to a new leadership position as the Director of Radiology Fellowship Programs.In the brand new role, Dr. Dove will help increase communication between our eight fellowship programs. While each fellowship offers unique opportunities and insights into radiology, the goal is to unify the various programs’ directors, fellows and administrative teams.

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences is proud to announce that Andrew Evelsizer, MD, has stepped into the role of Associate Program Director for VUMC’s Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency Program.

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences is excited to welcome Alexandra Foust, DO, who joins our team as Assistant Professor in Pediatric Radiology. Dr. Foust arrives by way of Cleveland, OH, where she recently served as Director of Pediatric MRI and Assistant Professor of Radiology at Case Western Reserve Hospital.

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences is happy to announce that Collin Howser, MD, one of our own Chief IR Residents, will be joining our faculty in August of 2023 as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Howser says he knew VUMC was the right place for him because of the department's strong and supportive family atmosphere.
