VUMC Radiology is pleased to announce that Shi Huang, PhD, Research Assistant Professor of Biostatistics, has received a secondary appointment as a Research Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences within the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
“I am extremely honored,” says Dr. Huang. “Medical imaging science always amazes me by how it applies cutting-edge technology to save lives. I truly believe the research collaborations with this highly intelligent team will greatly contribute to the field and eventually benefit patients. Dr. Huang, who has his PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Miami, works in data analysis and has worked on NIH and CDC-funded studies that focus on substance use and HIV risks and prevention.
