VUMC Radiology is excited to welcome Srigouri (Sri) Yalamanchili, MD, to our department as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences.
Dr. Yalamanchili joins our growing Community Radiology section. She will provide breast imaging coverage for our Vanderbilt regional Hospitals as well as at One Hundred Oaks and Cool Springs Imaging.
Dr. Yalamanchili is a two-time graduate of the University of Rochester in New York, where she received her bachelors in microbiology and immunology and her medical degree. She completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine in New York City before going on to complete two fellowships, one in body and cardiovascular MRI at NYU Medical Center and the other in breast imaging at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
After finishing her training in Houston, Dr. Yalamanchili went into private practice in Texas, eventually becoming a partner at Rose Imaging Specialists and RIS-Radiology Partners in Houston and an owner of Austin Breast Imaging in Austin.
