When I first began applying to diagnostic radiology residency programs, I knew I wanted to stay close to family and hoped to stay connected with the network of physicians I had built in the Southeast. As I began to visit and learn more about different programs on the interview trail, Vanderbilt soon rose above the rest.

Faculty and trainees in the Department of Radiology recently attended the 5th Annual Symposium on Academic Interventional Radiology (AIR) in Washington, D.C. The three-day conference, targeted towards interventional radiology (IR) faculty and trainees, featured a series of keynote presentations, discussions and interactive learning sessions.

The American College of Radiology’s (ACR) Ovarian-Adnexal Imaging Reporting and Data System (O-RADS) Committee, chaired by Rochelle Andreotti, M.D., Professor of Clinical Radiology and Radiological Sciences and Obstetrics and Gynecology, published its first manuscript, “Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting Lexicon for Ultrasound: A White Paper of the ACR Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting and Data System Committee.”
