Former Chair of Radiology, Avid Art Collector James Dies

The following story originally appeared in the April 6, 2017, edition of the VUMC Reporter.   A. Everette James Jr., M.D., J.D., a renowned imaging expert, art collector and former chair of Vanderbilt’s Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, died recently in North Carolina. He was 78.

Unfortunately, colonoscopy misses about 24 percent of small and flat polyps, which often develop into aggressive forms of CRC.

Department of Radiology Announces Chief Residents for Class of 2018

The Department of Radiology recently announced third-year diagnostic radiology resident Drs. Brian Bussey and Tyler McKinnon as chief residents for the Class of 2018. They will assume their new roles after the completion of the American Board of Radiology’s Core Examination in June.
