Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences Program Director of Diagnostic Radiology, Edwin Donnelly, M.D., Ph.D., and Program Director of Interventional Radiology, Peter Bream, M.D., are pleased to announce the results of the 2016 National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Match for their respective residency programs.
The Department matched 10 future residents from distinguished universities across the country, including University of California - San Francisco, University of Washington and University of Illinois at Chicago. Two future residents currently enrolled in Vanderbilt University's School of Medicine also matched for the diagnostic residency program.
"Thanks to the efforts of our residents, chief residents, recruitment committee members and dedicated faculty, we had an outstanding match this year," said Donnelly. "We matched a total of 10 future residents, more than we've ever matched before. The future of our speedboat and of our department is very bright!"
