Shanna A. Matalon, MD, is an Assistant Professor at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Matalon graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her Radiology Residency and Abdominal Imaging and Intervention Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH). She currently serves as the Associate Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology Residencies. She has received several educational and teaching awards, including the BWH Faculty Teaching award in 2020 and the Valerie P Jackson ACR Education Fellowship in 2017. In addition to her clinical interest in gastrointestinal radiology, she is also passionate about medical education.
