Nitro Pro - Product Updates

XFA/LiveCycle documents and Nitro Pro

Medical Center departments may purchase Nitro Pro, a PDF editor, through the VUMC Software Store. Some files may use the .PDF extension in their file name, but they are actually XFA or Adobe LifeCycle documents.  You can identify a document's file type by right-clicking on the document, and selecting Document Properties. Nitro Pro, Mozilla Firefox's built-in PDF viewer, and Google Chrome's built-in PDF viewer do not support XFA files.  If you need to work with XFA files, please see Adobe's website

Vulnerabilities found with Wi-Fi networks The VUMC IT Security Operations team is issuing this communication regarding a vulnerability discovered with secure Wi-Fi networks. The event is related to a weakness exposed in the WPA and WPA2 security protocols. At the current time, Vanderbilt University Medical Center Wi-Fi networks are not affected.
