The Software Store is working with Mathworks to add MATLAB Distributed Computing Server (MDCS) to the MATLAB product bundle we offer. MDCS lets researchers run MATLAB programs on up to 32 cores simultaneously. We expect to begin offering the new MATLAB suite on April 1. Oracle released Java 6 Update 43 and Java 7 Update 17 on March 4. Oracle strongly advises Java 6 and Java 7 customers to apply the applicable update as soon as possible. Oracle advised Java 6 users to upgrade to Java 7.
