Kivuto, the company that hosts the VUMC Software Store, is updating the store platform on Wednesday, August 26th, between 3:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.  During this time, the store will display a message that it is unavailable to customers.

The Pegasus platform you use to submit tickets and requests is getting a new “PHI Label” feature the week of July 20. The label is designed to help users do their job more securely and will allow Pegasus users who submit a ticket containing protected health information (PHI) to identify the ticket as sensitive by adding a label. This improvement helps all VUMC employees who handle PHI when they work, enables VUMC to meet internal and external audit standards, and allows the Pegasus system to generate reports for overseeing PHI-related activity.

VUMC’s workforce members are diligent about the security of VUMC data, but email remains a significant avenue for threats to VUMC users and data, and automatic forwarding of email increases the likelihood of VUMC data inadvertently being sent to external locations.

Starting July 6th at 7 a.m., faculty, staff, and students have early access to Dell's cyber week door-busters and deals. 

The VUMC Software Store offers a campus-wide license for MATLAB, Simulink, and companion products. VUMC IT recovers cost each year by billing departments based on usage.
