Dr. Mattingly grew up in Dallas, Texas, where he completed his undergraduate degree in business administration at the University of Texas at Dallas. He then received his medical degree at the University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center. This was followed by an internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX, and ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He then completed his glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Dr. Mattingly strives to engage his patients with comprehensive evaluations and clear communication. He has special interests in advanced glaucoma and complex cataract surgery.
