Background

Dr. Reddy is originally from Murfreesboro, TN. He received his bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by an Ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City, and a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Vanderbilt University.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr. Reddy has a particular interest in medical education and in the medical and surgical management of pediatric cataracts and strabismus. He is excited to be seeing patients in his native Tennessee.

Her areas of expertise are eyelid surgery, brow lifting, Mohs reconstructive surgery, orbital tumors, tear duct surgery, thyroid eye disease, eye removal, trauma and cosmetics.

Background

Dr. Sobel is originally from Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from University of California at San Francisco. She completed her residency training at the Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia and then a two–year oculoplastics fellowship program at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Prior to joining Vanderbilt Eye Institute, she was director of the division of Oculoplastics and Orbital Surgery at Boston Medical Center/Boston University where she was an assistant professor and taught medical students and residents.  Dr. Sobel has been a medical columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer and US News and World Report. She has contributed to NPR and New England Journal of Medicine and is an active contributor to scientific publications. She is board certified in Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Groth's practice uses the most current medical and surgical therapy options, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. She also has a special interest in complex cataract surgery in patients with or without glaucoma. Dr. Groth is focused on providing thorough and timely care to glaucoma patients in middle Tennessee. Background

Dr. Lou obtained her Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction from the University of Michigan and her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She then completed an internship at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, MI. She moved to Tennessee in 2017 to complete her ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Lou’s clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of cataracts, glaucoma, dry eyes, and diabetic eye disease. In her free time, Dr. Lou enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, and cooking.
