Beginning Friday, August 29, Vanderbilt students will be able to install Office 365 ProPus free of charge on up to five devices, including PC, Mac, tablet, and mobile. The Software Store is scheduled to undergo maintenance on August 12, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 AM.  During this time, customers will not be able to log into the Software Store.

MATLAB Distributed Computing Server (MDCS) lets you run MATLAB programs and Simulink models on computer clusters.  Build your program or model on a  desktop using Parallel Computing Toolbox, and then run your code on many computers using MDCS. Parallel Computing Toolbox is included in the MATLAB product suite that departments, employees, and students can buy through the Vanderbilt Software Store.  Once you subscribe to MATLAB, you are eligible to get MDCS at no cost through the store. SAS Clinical Standards Toolkit 1.6 for Windows and Linux is available through the Vanderbilt Software Store.  Customers can obtain access to Clinical Standards Toolkit by purchasing a SAS subscription through the Software Store. Corel released WordPerfect Office X7 for Windows on April 8, 2014 and the Software Store now offers the new version to departments for use on Vanderbilt owned computers.  You can use WordPerfect Office to open, edit, and create PDF files.  New features in X7 include PDF Forms feature: Create PDF forms and populate the forms with text fields, check boxes, drop down lists, radio buttons, and more. eBook Publisher: the enhanced WordPerfect eBook Publisher supports both EPUB and MOBI formats, and provides compatibility with Kobo, Kindle, Nook and Sony Reader eBook device

Vanderbilt purchased a site license for FolderSizes Professional 7 for Windows.  You can use FolderSizes to analyze, visualize, and manage disk space.  See http://www.foldersizes.com/ for more product information. The site license allows customers to use the software on Vanderbilt and employee home computers.  Download at no charge through the Vanderbilt Software Store.  

The Vanderbilt community can download SuperToast Professional for Lync 2013 for free through the Vanderbilt Software Store.
