Microsoft Ends Windows XP Support on April 8, 2014

Microsoft will end all support for Windows XP on April 8, 2014. Office 365 will not block connections from fully patched Windows XP computers after April 8, 2014, but connectivity to the service will be at risk. Windows XP workstations that have not deployed all service packs and automatic updates run an even higher risk of Office 365 connectivity issues after support for Windows XP ends. Microsoft strongly recommends that you upgrade your Windows XP workstations to Windows 8 or Windows 7 prior to April 8, 2014.

Office 365 Updates during February 2014

Microsoft renamed and enhanced two Office 365 services during February 2014: Office Web Apps is now Office Online; and SkyDrive Pro is now OneDrive for Business. Microsoft also released security and compliance related updates with improvements to authentication for Office 365 and Yammer, anti-spam and anti-malware enhancements, new email encryption options with S/MIME and Office 365 Message encryption, and new Data Loss Prevention features.

Office 365 and Internet Explorer 8

Office 365 will no longer support Internet Explorer 8 after 8 April 2014. For the best, richest experience with Office 365, Microsoft recommends that you upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer 10 is available now, and Internet Explorer 11 is coming soon.

Adobe Releases Patch for Critical Flash Vulnerability
