Thomson Reuters recently announced the release of EndNote X5 for Windows (http://www.endnote.com/pr-enx5win.asp).  Departments, faculty, staff and students may purchase EndNote X5 for $55/computer through the Vanderbilt Software Store starting today. Adobe has announced the release of CS5.5.  Departments that place and approve orders through http://its.vanderbilt.edu/softwarestore for the CS5 version between 4/11/11 and 4/26/11 will receive a free upgrade to CS5.5 Departments that have purchased maintenance with their CS5 products will also receive free upgrades to CS5.5. The Vanderbilt Software Store uses a GeoTrust hosted portal (GeoTrust Center) for fulfilling Enterprise SSL Certificate orders placed by departments. This morning, GeoTrust Center contained the following advisories: 1.GeoCenter will be unavailable between 12:00 noon and 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9th due to scheduled maintenance. As a result, the Software Store will not be able to fulfill Enterprise SSL certificate orders during this time. 2.Mozilla has announced it will not support MD5 after June 30th, 2011.

Vanderbilt has renewed its CambridgeSoft Inventory Workgroup site license.  The site license enables employees and students to download Inventory Workgroup for free.

Mathematica 8 has been released.  The Vanderbilt Software Store has pushed a free upgrade to customers with active subscriptions. If you are a student who uses Mathematica for coursework in the School of Engineering or the College of Arts and Science, please be aware that both schools are continuing to use version 7 through the end of the spring semester. Thomson Reuters has released Update X4.0.2 for EndNote X4 for Windows.  The update provides Microsoft Word 2010 64-bit compatibility.
