At Vanderbilt’s Division of Hand and Upper Extremity, we maintain continual focus on developing our expertise in the clinical, surgical and research aspects of hand and upper extremity ailments, and on training future doctors.
With a comprehensive program of care for conditions that impact the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder, our faculty and fellows work together to:
- Conduct research to improve patient care through biomedical studies and clinical trials
- Diagnose and treat congenital, neurological, reconstructive and post traumatic conditions
- Provide the communities we serve with top notch surgical care
When you join our program, you become part of a team of leaders in the academic and medical communities. By serving on various governing boards, such as the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and other outreach tasks forces, we work to advance orthopaedic care in our communities and around the world.
