Lori Deitte, MD, Professor and Vice Chair of Education, Department of Radiology, has been elected as an inaugural Fellow of the Association of University Radiologists (AUR).  

Department Announces Incoming Pediatric Radiology Faculty

The Department of Radiology this week announced incoming faculty for the Pediatric Radiology section at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Stephen Little, MD, is expected to join the department as an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology, effective Sept. 1, 2020.

Hilmes Elected to Academy for Excellence in Education

Melissa Hilmes, MD, Associate Professor of Radiology, has been elected to Vanderbilt University School of Medicine’s (VUSM) Academy for Excellence in Education, in recognition of her contributions to the educational mission at Vanderbilt.

Vanderbilt Radiology to Welcome Cooke in Body Imaging Section

The Department of Radiology is excited to announce that Erin Cooke, MD, will join faculty as an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology and Radiological Sciences in the Body Imaging section, effective Sept. 1, 2020.  Dr. Cooke will come to Vanderbilt from Seattle-based Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC), where she has served as a staff radiologist specializing in Body Imaging, Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging since 2014.

Morgan, Peterson Elected to AIMBE College of Fellows

Victoria Morgan, PhD, and Todd Peterson, PhD, Department of Radiology faculty in the Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science (VUIIS), have been elected to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) College of Fellows.
