Banovac Appointed Society of Interventional Radiology Treasurer

Filip Banovac, M.D., FSIR, Associate Professor of Radiology and Interventional Radiology (IR) Section Chief, has been appointed Treasurer of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). He will serve a three-year term in that role for both the SIR and the SIR Foundation.

Spalluto, Lewis to Co-lead VA-PALS National Program Evaluation

Lucy Spalluto, M.D., Assistant Professor of Radiology, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) oncology colleague Jennifer Lewis, M.D., M.S., Instructor in Medicine, have been selected to co-lead the Veterans Affairs – Partnership to increase Access to Lung Screening (VA-PALS) National Program Evaluation.

Third-year diagnostic radiology resident Courtney Raybon, M.D., was named Chair of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Resident and Fellow Committee (RFC) at RSNA’s Annual Meeting held last week in Chicago.
