Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences Jeremy J. Kaye Lecture in Musculoskeletal Imaging "A Short Overview of Radiology and the Contributions of Jeremy J. Kaye" featuring

Arthur Fleischer, M.D., Medical Director of Ultrasound and Cornelius Vanderbilt Professor, Departments of Radiology and Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN), received the Laurence (Larry) A. Mack Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2018 Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU) Annual Meeting held earlier this month in San Diego.

Ryan Adams, M.D., second-year diagnostic radiology resident, was recently selected to participate in the Introduction to Academic Radiology (ITAR) Program at Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting in Chicago next month. 

Third-year Vanderbilt Radiology resident Courtney Raybon, M.D., and neuroradiology fellow Courtney Tomblinson, M.D., have been awarded member-in-training travel stipends in the amount of $1,200 each to attend the 2018 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting next month in

Last weekend, the Department of Radiology hosted a Strategic Directions Retreat, which inspired idea sharing and thought-provoking discussion related to the future direction of the department.

As I began to visit and learn more about different programs on the interview trail, Vanderbilt soon rose above the rest.
