Recap: Vanderbilt Radiology at RSNA 2017

Last week, faculty and trainees in Vanderbilt’s Department of Radiology attended the 103rd Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2017 Annual Meeting in Chicago. The largest radiology industry meeting in the world, RSNA this year brought together more than 71,000 radiology leaders to connect and engage around the latest advances in medical imaging, technology and research.

Chekmenev, Morgan Receive 2017 Distinguished Investigator Awards

Today, Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) Department of Radiology faculty Drs. Eduard Chekmenev and Victoria Morgan received 2017 Distinguished Investigator awards from the Academy of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Research.  

Vanderbilt Radiologists Named Among Best Doctors in America

Eight Department of Radiology faculty were recently named among the Best Doctors in America. The list, announced every two years by Best Doctors, Inc., identifies physician leaders from various specialties who have been selected by peers across the United States for placement on the list. Andreotti, ACR O-RADS Committee Meet to Discuss Ultrasound, MRI Risk Stratification and Management System

Rochelle Andreotti, M.D., Professor of Clinical Radiology and Radiological Sciences and Obstetrics and Gynecology, recently met with the American College of Radiology’s (ACR) Ovarian-Adnexal Imaging Reporting and Data System (O-RADS) Committee at ACR Headquarters in Reston, Virginia, to discuss the new risk stratification and management system for ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
