Compassionate Advisory Panel

Compassionate Advisory Panel at the Osher Center
The Compassionate Advisory Panel (CAP) serves as a bridge between Osher faculty/staff and former and current patients/clients. Our goal is to empower Osher patients to enhance their quality of life, functioning, and overall well-being through direct feedback and active participation from CAP members.

CAP acts as a mechanism for the Osher Center to receive direct feedback from former and current Osher patients, with the intention of:

  • Collaborating with faculty/staff to find ways to enhance and improve the quality of care provided to clients, patients, caretakers, and their families.
  • Reviewing and offering feedback on teaching, marketing, and resource materials.
  • Helping the center become more diverse, equitable, and inclusive as regards Osher faculty/staff, clients/patients, and programming.
  • Actively participating in Osher programming to provide constructive and reflective feedback, and to explore opportunities to improve future services to participants, patients, and the community.
  • Providing input into Osher's strategic planning.

CAP members may also have the option of participating in research activities as stakeholders with a vested interest in integrative modalities.
