Therapeutic Movement

Boost your health and wellbeing by joining the movement program at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt. Our movement program provides Qigong, Tai Chi and Yoga through ongoing group classes, specialty series and individual therapeutic sessions.

Our Movement Program is designed to support your path to wellbeing. Our movement practitioners are experienced in attending to individual needs, creating a safe and supportive environment. These movement modalities use gentle movement, breathing, mindful awareness and meditation to help your whole self.

Classes designed to meet your unique needs:
All Osher Movement Classes are facilitated by an instructor with experience and specific training working with participants with chronic pain and conditions.

Each class is categorized (M1/M2/M3) based on different areas of therapeutic focus. We have a class for you whether you are looking for support in connecting to your breath, experiencing gentle movements for comfort and relaxation, or building strength, stability, and mobility. To learn more about selecting the right class, consult with your Osher provider or read more about class suitability categories on the Therapeutic Movement FAQs page.
